Development en masse.

Start, top --> End, bottom.

Thinking about facade. Starting just sketches.

Written thoughts about the clients and their briefs.

Thinking about integrating the ramps into design instead of having flat floor.

Little bit more thought.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
First concept model:

Interesting to see no flat floors in a building. The slope is really steep though. Will have to aim to keep them about 12 degrees or at least lower then 15 degrees.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Moving onto Tetris for inspiration. Startings of the layout of each floor and how they react with each other.

Deciding on final shape.

Final shape which is slightly different to final.

The two special floors.

I chose this layout because my building was located in the middle of a carpark with only one face exposed to be able to have light let in. This way, each client gets their appropriate amount to exposure to light while meeting their requirements. E.g. Joanna's lower section of her L, has plenty of window for light while having her little climbing ladder, as she wants.

Near finals:

Second Concept model:

I liked this one as the shadow looked very 'heavy'. Hence I used the thick card etc for final.

Interesting shape there in the shadow.

Slanting of walls as the tiny weight on top pushes them apart.

Squashing of lower levels again. Interesting.

Sectional drawing:

For this, it was drawing quite busy. Lots of activity with plenty of usage of the ramps, as I want- instead of having elevators etc so people HAVE to walk through from bottom to top and experience all the floors.

Wanted to have remake this busy-ness in my model. Failed.

Final floor plans.

Playing around again to get better ramps.
