Finished product
This is the 'finished' thing.
It involves two parts:
The physical bits before the slope, and the slope leading up to a 'nest' thing. Everything is made of the same materials.
Reasons:
In sleep, often it's really hard for me to get to sleep. Almost like pushing through barriers, just so I can close my eyes. Too much on the mind maybe? So for anything to get to the 'bed' they'd have to walk through those large pieces- which btw is hard haha.
Once on the slope, it's easy to get to the bed/nest.You click on the large one and then you're dropped into the sea. Nothing moves, they're all the same still when you emerge from the sea. Then repeat for the next night.
The reason that the 'parts' are shaped that way is because I wanted to make the pieces of slope to be uneven, low on one end, higher on the other and able to be stacked. Hence, going up one way is easier than going down, the other way because there are big parts sticking up- in the real world you'd trip up or have to walk very carefully when going down. This can be linked with waking up- very hard sometimes haha because it was so hard to get to bed on time. Hence the only way to get down (the easy way) is to get dumped into sea- waking up very abruptly.
The texture that was used was a checkered pattern but on the sculpted prim it came out like that. It looks alright still but for checkered shape, to me, it's a 'symbol' of confusion for me. I don't know why it just is confusing. So I made every piece the same with that pattern so the whole lot was the same.
Also, the location of the overall thing is directly next to the sea. The sea (in real life) has tides in rhythm, almost the same as traffic flows do. It comes in and is louder for some time then goes out and becomes softer- just like the traffic flows along Beach road (day and night times).
